The Berean Baptist Church began in 1975 under the direction of the Holy Spirit and through the vision and burden of Preacher James C. Cagle.

The first few Church services were held in one of the member’s homes, and later the old Pop-cola Building was rented and then purchased.

In the early ’90s, the Lord blessed the Church to purchase land on Nearing Hill Drive where the Church Sanctuary and facilities presently stand.

Down through the years, the Lord has allowed many precious souls to pass through our doors and find salvation through God’s amazing grace, and the saints of God have found a place where they can freely worship the Lord and find spiritual strength, comfort, and encouragement.

When we look back to all the great things the Lord has done for our Church, all we can say is, “To God be the Glory; great things He had done for us!”
